Why am I such a party animal tho?

“My view right now.” Just because it’s another beautiful sunny day in Alaska and because I’ll never get tired of looking at those mountains. Having a quick lunch before my last class for the week. :)

Well, oh righty then.

Checked out this poetry show on campus with Ratchy that was featuring Def Jam poet, Shihan. I’ve never really heard of him until this show, but I’m glad we decided to check him out. He’s talented, smart, humble, and most definitely inspiring. He’s like one of those people that you can just listen to all day talking about all different kinds of random bits that always seem to have some kind of underlining wisdom. He has a book coming out in April in which a downloadable version will be available for free only for the first week, but most definitely check him out on Youtube and iTunes in the meantime. :)

p.s. - I recorded some of his stuff, so I’ll try to post that as soon as the tumblr app on my phone stops being a little beezy. 

Bringing a pair of sweats to change into at the library was the best idea I’ve ever had. I didn’t want to lose my table, so I had to change behind some filing cabinets, haha. I have three tests to study for next week and I don’t feel as prepared as I should be, so I’m probably going to spend lots of hours here after work. Welp, there goes my weekend. 

Shitty photo, but I decided to check out the Chinese ceremony they were having on campus tonight. It was mainly music, but it was pretty cool. I love learning and experiencing different cultures. Even if it’s something small.
