It lives! Last week something was leaking in my backpack with my Macbook inside, so I had it drying out first and then put it in a huge back with rice. Seems like the damage are the stains behind the screen and a stubborn trackpad clicker. Think I’m going to put it back in the bag with rice for a little bit longer just to be safe.
